Intro

Fuel Card Services had spent 35 years helping fleet operators manage fuel payments, but the industry was shifting. With climate concerns rising and the acquisition of fleet tech company Cubo, they needed a rebrand to unite both businesses and move beyond fuel as the primary revenue source. Edna developed a new strategy, positioning, name, and brand identity for Motia—a brand built for a logistics industry moving towards net-zero. I designed the motion system that became the visual thread of the entire brand identity. At its core: a dot in constant motion, always initiating movement from A to B. The motion personality is efficient and direct, reflecting the brand's purpose. Delayed strokes trace traffic patterns and road routes, creating an abstract visual language grounded in the real mechanics of fleet movement.
