For the past two years, I've been running Ladies, Wine & Design Sheffield alongside my three friends, organizing workshops and events for women+ in the creative community. The focus is on hands-on making and bringing people together around craft and creativity. We've hosted workshops including book jacket making at Novel Sheffield, festive garland crafting at BON, Oatly carton printing with materials donated by GF Smith Papers, and knit clubs at Kilnfolk Coffee. The events are collaborative, working with local businesses to keep things accessible and grounded in making something tangible. The community has grown through word of mouth, and each event reinforces that Sheffield's creative scene works best when it's inclusive and collaborative.
